Meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm at My Flower Box, 1211 S. Charles St. Chair: Kim Tyson
This dedicated committee works hard to make sure everyone has fun in Historic Federal Hill! The Promotions Committee organizes two retail promotions each year, Spring Fever and Moonlight Madness, and organizes other events and fundraisers as well.
The Promotions Committee also handles public relations, media and advertising, and works with other city agencies to ensure that people know about and visit the neighborhood. And they are responsible for creating a recognizable image for Historic Federal Hill that sets it apart from other neighborhoods.
If you would like to join the Promotions Committee and work with area retailers to promote the Federal Hill business district, please contact the Promotions Committee at promotions@historicfederalhill.org.
The Festival Committee organizes Federal Hill Main Street's three annual street festivals, which are well-attended and have earned a reputation for being well-run. These festivals are Main Street's primary source of fundraising. They also bring thousands of visitors into the neighborhood, many of whom come back to shop or dine or even start a business.
If you are interested in the hard work of having fun and would like to take part in the organization of the Spring Block Party, the Jazz & Blues Festival, and the Street Beat Festival, please contact the Festival Committee at events@historicfederalhill.org.
